I am T'ac'cha Cornwell of the Tholian Hegemony.
My people, the Tholians, have existed in the Alpha Quadrant for nearly a billion years. For example, I have lived 3,503 years, by the human calendar. In order for you to understand what is taking place with the Tholians, as I speak, I need to give you some background.
The Tholians are guided by the A'cha'chi'lo. In your respective languages, it can only be described as a Great Force that surrounds and encompasses all life, translating directly to the word "Essence."
The A'cha'chi'lo has given us guidance and purpose over the millenia. Our primary goal in life has been to observe the universe, to learn and understand it and those around us.
We have spent the last tens of thousands of years doing exactly that. As the different races of the alpha quadrant journeyed into space, we took on a xenophobic role...watching and observing your races as they 'came of age.'
Recently, the A'cha'chi'lo has decided that it is time the Tholians to move on to new challenges and learning.
The A'cha'chi'lo has given us the technology to travel to different dimensions, so that we may go there...to other dimensions and realities...and continue our learning.
That is why I have initiated this 'Psionic Broadcast' to the Alpha Quadrant...so that on behalf of my people we may say C'lin'do, or good-bye, to you. It has been a wonderful and interesting journey watching your races develop and become what they are today. We hope, in the information and technology that we are leaving behind, some of you may find enlightenment, understanding, or at the very least, new information. It may take you some time to find it all, as some of the most interesting stuff is hidden and buried, as well as to decipher some of our older texts and information.
As I eluded to earlier in my speech...at this very moment all Tholians are boarding our ships and are about to begin our journey into other dimensions and planes of existence. The planets, moons, and bases that were ours have been left behind. We hope that they, as well as the information they contain, will be of help to you all.
This is not good-bye forever...as we may come back from time to time, or at least some of us, to 'check-up' on the rest of you. It is also our belief that at some point in the future we will come back to help you move on to other, and greater, things.
